The Salam Concert Series also marks the Swiss debut of several key Programs from the
Global Health Equity Foundation (GHEF), our sister organization and frequent collaborator.
Proceeds will support GHEF’s trauma-focused mental health programs, which have already
made an impact internationally—and now, thanks to your support, are poised to launch in
Switzerland:
• Let’s Talk Suicide Prevention – Theatre Program– Piloted in Eastern Montana
• Shadows Trauma Literacy – Filmic Program – Piloted in Bonn Germany
• Connecting Cultures – A cross-cultural dialogue series that discusses relevant
psychosocial topics. Our current dialogue, “The Speed of Change: A Dialogue Across
Generations,” brings together Gen Z and Elders to explore how rapid social
transformations affect identity, belonging, and intergenerational communication.
Launched by the Global Health Equity Foundation (GHEF), this initiative builds on
earlier projects like Drei Zusammen, which began in Bonn, Germany, and featured filmed
debates between Arabic-speaking newcomers and native Germans. Over time, it has
evolved into a multimedia platform with podcasts, visual storytelling, and participatory
art.

Grounded in GHEF’s work in trauma literacy, migration, and intercultural health
diplomacy, Connecting Cultures fosters empathy, bridges generational and cultural
divides, and positions communication as a vital tool for resilience in times of upheaval.
This living dialogue continues to expand across educational, civic, and cultural spheres,
championing inclusive societies through shared narrative and exchange.
This work will be supported through our broader Possessions Fundraising Campaign, which aims to raise CHF 10,000 for program activation, public education, and new partnerships in Switzerland. The Concert Series will serve as a living portfolio—an artistic call to action—to introduce these programs in a format that is accessible, heartfelt, and hopeful.
