Causam

Causam is a post-apocalyptic black metal band hailing from Switzerland, forged in 2020 amidst a world teetering on collapse. With a name rooted in the Latin word for “fall” or “ruin,” Causam channels the chaos of societal disintegration into an intense sonic experience—raw, atmospheric, and unrelentingly dark.

Drawing influence from black metal titans like Mgła, Rotting Christ, and Satyricon, the band fuses melodic dissonance with punishing riffs and layered textures, crafting a sound that is both immersive and ferocious.
