Der siebte Streich von Anna-Katharina Rickert und Ralf Schlatter bringt einmal mehr geistreiche Satire, grenzenlose Fantasie, Wortspiel, Gesang und jede Menge fliegender Rollenwechsel.
Nur alle 50 Jahre wird in Grosshöchstetten das Freilichtspiel «Die Blutbuche» aufgeführt, und jeweils nur an einem einzigen Abend, denn am Ende des Stücks wird der Baum gefällt. Nun ist es wieder soweit, das Theaterfieber erfasst das ganze Dorf.
