Join for the Basel Intensive - a two-day Bharatanatyam workshop with acclaimed dancer and choreographer Rukmini Vijayakumar. Designed for intermediate to advanced Bharatanatyam dancers (a consistent dance practice of at least 4-5 years), this workshop is a rare opportunity to spend two full days learning from one of the leading artists in the field and taking your dance practice to the next level.

Day 1: injury prevention & alignment, nritta (adavu technique), start of choreography

Day 2: finishing & refining the choreography

Note: It is possible to only join for Day 1 if you want to focus primarily on alignment and technique. Day 1 is mandatory for attending Day 2. 

Please note that there will be a 1-hour lunch break during the workshop, attendees will need to provide their own lunch.
