„Alles wird gut“ beleuchtet Heimatgefühle, Sehnsucht und den Traum vom Glück. Doreen Cartwithen nimmt uns mit nach Suffolk, wo sich Idyll, Volksmusik und Lebenslust zur harmonischen Heimatmusik verbinden, während Albert Ketèlbey uns von einer märchenhaft schimmernden imaginierten Heimat
weitab von jeglichem Alltag träumen lässt: “When lights are low my thoughts always go to a far off land 'cross the sea. Amber moon and the sweet perfume of the mystic East call to me.” Der Klang des Hackbretts evoziert Gefühle von Heimat und Fremde wie kaum ein anderes Instrument: bei Paul Huber schwingt die Alpen-Folklore mit, während er das traditionelle Instrument gleichzeitig in virtuose Sphären entführt. Heimat ist auch immer eine Fata Morgana, die am Horizont auftaucht und verschwindet, sobald man sich ihr nähert: Lehár ist der Reiseführer an diesen Schnittpunkt von Nirvana und Nirgendwo. Alles wird gut bei Vaughan Williams. Er bestätigt uns mit seiner von englischen Folksongs gefütterten Feelgood-Suite, wo unsere wahre Heimat liegt: Zuhause sind wir immer dort, wo die Musik
spielt.
